NO MUSIC....NO LIFE

The Ten Tenors Double Platinum Tour 2013

We had to wait a while for the next tour but there it was. The tour started in Niederhausen, sadly it was too far away so for us it started in Essen, the place where it all ended in 2011.
 TTT-Tour means also, meeting other fans that became friends during previous tours, without them is wouldn`t been the same :-) 

I really love this show, a great mix of songs, for everyone something.
Highlights: The Aussie songs, MJ-medley, somebody to Love and specially  CLOSE TO YOU Love the new boys, they all bring something special to the group.

As always we had of course the stroopwafels for them. Tom saw them as first and yelled to the others  ’we got stroopwafels again’ even the new boys had heard about them. One of the best ideas ever to come with that.

Next show was Dusseldorf, wonderful venue. Best thing, Bennie is back. And what a great audience, the boys were really on fire, best show till so far. 

The next two shows were the Dutch shows and J was with us. The boys loved to see J having fun during the show and M&G. It was his first Dutch show and new he could talk with the neighbors, and he did ;-) So funny to see him telling his TTT adventures. Bennie, his favorite was very happy to see him again, did the high five took some photos with him. Result one happy kid :-). 

One Dutch show got cancelled so we had to do another one and that was Bonn. We had a great pre-show dinner, great to see a lot of fans again. We were hoping to see finally Jack on stage, but sadly no, we`ve to wait till next tour I think. During the M&G gave J Bennie a bracelet with ‘Friends forever’ and Bennie he shouldn`t put it off. But would he keep his word … He did coz Nana told me that he had it on on stage the next day :-) 

Okay and then it was the last German show in Hannover. We wanted it to be the ‘best show ever’ by planning some fun stuff to do with all the fans in the venue. Did we succeed, I think so. 
We had planned to have pre-show dinner together, but with how many, first about 10 but later on it went more. I joked about reserving a table for 20, and so we did. At the end there`re more as 20 in the pizzeria. We had so much fun planning some stuff. 

And then the parTTTy started. The audience were on fire and so were the boys. 
And the planned stuff worked well. So many fans with glowsticks, we all stood up during ‘Land Down Under’ and not just us but a big part of the audience too :-) Hands up during La Danza,  all the waving flag during ‘Still call Australia Home’, making a party during MJ-Medley, great surprise: Bennie was wearing a red leather jacket during Thriller. 
So an amazing first part. 

During the interval we were all busy with the balloons, they haven`t all survived ;-) 

Part two started and when they started to sing ‘Dein ist mein ganzes Herz’ we all strew the balloons on stage, they were very surprised. The rest of the show went very well, standing audience during ‘anything for Love’, yes they had a great response :-) 

And than the encore, tissues ready coz there was ‘Close To You’ and then ‘Hey jude’ there he was, the 11th tenor Jack came on stage to sing with the boys, and also some of the crew. Yes it was a great parTTTy!!!!. 

And that was the end of the show, but one of the best part for some fans just had to start. 
Nicole Rademacher came with the idea to turn around the M&G. So she and Yvon and Anka spoke with the manager and he agreed. They made a paper that the fans, who stood behind the desks, had to sign for the boys. This was so much fun. We were waiting and Christa started to sing the na, nana, nanana part from Hey Jude and we all started to do that. The boys were of course very surprised, sadly I couldn`t see their first reaction. 
when it was Bennies turn to let his paper sign by me he gave me his back stage passes from a US and Canadian  show for Justin, that was so sweet 


After the show we all agreed that this was THE BEST SHOW EVER. 

That was also the reaction of some of the boys on twitter.

Catching up with old friends, to name a few: Stella, Nicole M, Nicole E, Dirk, Tanja, Nana, Lena, Sabine and all the others,  meeting new friends ….  it was amazing. 

And of course Christa, thanks again for making so many new memories. APS
